Highlights of the Week: June 12 - 18

"And what is so rare as a day in June?/Then, if ever come perfect days..." (James Russell Lowell)
If Lowell had been a teacher, he probably would have written, "busy days"!  Our June calendar is certainly full!

THANK YOU

  • to the athletes, coaches and parent helpers from last week's Track Meet.  Congratulations to the Grade 6s and 7s especially, for finishing strong - just one more meet ahead for Grades 3 - 5.

  • to the 34 families who have filled out the Parent Survey - that is about 1/3 of our families.  We encourage the rest to do the survey ASAP! Fill it out here!

INFORMATION

REMINDERS

  • Students are to wear/bring costumes for the volunteer tea on Wednesday.  That information was communicated to you by classroom teachers.

  • If you have not RSVP'd for the volunteer tea, please let Mrs. Netzlaw know by tomorrow morning.

  • Yearbook order forms went home in the brown envelope.  Please return ASAP - there is a limited number of yearbooks available to purchase.  Many thanks to Fatima and RJ Layno for the time and effort spent in putting the yearbook together!

MONDAY

TUESDAY

  • Track and Field practice, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Grades 3 - 5)

    • So as to protect the health, healing, and well-being of our student athletes, we ask parents/guardians of injured students and those recovering from illnesses, to inform the coaches of your child's condition. As staff are committed to coaching at practices and meets, it is not possible to offer supervision for student athletes who are not participating.  Therefore, we require that students with injuries or those recovering from illness refrain from practices and meets until they regain full health.
