Weekly Highlights: Jan. 22 - 28

When I wrote last week about being prepared for inclement weather, I certainly didn't think that we would be facing three days out of school!  I appreciate your patience and cooperation with these snow days and I sincerely hope we won't have any more this year!  It IS nice to be outside and feel the warmer air.

I was looking at the playground this morning and it is still completely snow-covered.  We do plan to be outside for recesses this week (except in the event of torrential rain) so please continue to have appropriate winter clothes for your child.  The snow will be getting wetter as it melts, so waterproof gear is recommended.

THANK YOU

  • to our parish maintenance crew for making sure the parking lot and sidewalks were cleared

INFORMATION

  • Talent Show:

    • All Talent Show auditions will take place on Monday. Please come before school for all those who had an AM slot booked for Friday or for anyone who can, as it will help us get everyone in. All others will take place throughout the day. We will make our selections and those students who make it in will be provided permission forms by Tuesday. We will do a practice run through on Wednesday at lunch.

  • our guest instructor for dance will come this week since she was only able to fit in one day last week

REMINDERS

  • to the cast of our school musical:  please be sure to arrive at 7:30 for rehearsal

  • we do go outside most days - please be sure to have your child bring appropriate outerwear.  A change of pants and socks tucked into backpacks would not be a bad idea for most of our students!
