Weekly Highlights – April 27 to May 1

Good morning families,

As we move further into spring, we are beginning to see more skirts and shorts, and the children have certainly grown! This is a good time to take a look at your child’s uniform to ensure it still meets expectations. A few reminders:

  • Sweaters are required on Wednesdays for Mass

  • Skirts, skorts, and shorts must be of modest length (1 to 2 inches above knee) 

  • Colour Day Clothing should reflect our school values—no inappropriate images or wording, modest in length, size and fit.

  • If expectations are not met, a note will be sent home

Monday, April 27

  • CISVA Spelling Bee – Hayden representing St. Mary’s (Good luck, Hayden!! We will be praying for you.)

  • Gr. 4/5 Girls Basketball Game vs. Cheam @ Home – Last game of the season. Go Knights!

Tuesday, April 28

  • Gr. 4/5 Boys Basketball Game @ Sardis (A perfect opportunity for parents to wear St. Mary’s School Spirit Wear! Not sure what this is? Ask us at the office.)

  • First Communion Rehearsal – 6:30 pm

Wednesday, April 29

  • Mass (Gr. 2–7) – Please join us

  • Track Practice - Please pick up children PROMPTLY at 4 pm

Thursday, April 30

  • Gr. 5, 6 & 7 Field Trip – SJB Musical

  • Track Practice - Please pick up children PROMPTLY at 4 pm

Friday, May 1

  • Gr. 4 Salmon Release

We’ll be keeping our students who are preparing for First Communion and Confirmation in our prayers in the coming weeks. It’s always a special time for our school and parish, and we look forward to celebrating with them.
