Highlights of the Week: Sept. 19 - 25

INFORMATION:

  • The Chilliwack Pro-Life "Walk for Life" Fundraiser is coming Sat Sept 24th. Those attending will gather at 9:30am at the Alliance Church and walk about 3-4 km to raise awareness. There's free hot dogs at the end and a food truck to buy lunch at, if preferred. To print off a pledge form, go to https://chilliwackprolife.com/images/PledgeForm2022_1.pdf

REMINDERS

  • Please continue to monitor your children's health each day and remember our motto for the year: If you are sick, stay home. Children who test positive for COVID-19 should be isolated for 5 days and may return as long as they are fever-free without medication, have had symptoms disappear (a cough may linger) and are feeling well enough to participate in ALL school activities, including recesses and PE classes. The same conditions apply to children who do not test positive for COVID-19, except they do not have to observe the 5 day isolation period, and can return when well.

  • Lost and Found: it is amazing how quickly items accumulate. Please be sure to label all clothing, lunch kits, back packs, food containers, etc. with at least your family name.

  • Supervision does not begin until 8:25 am. Please refrain from leaving students unsupervised at the school prior to this time.

  • Coupon book sales - deadline to return orders/coupon books is Sept 26th

  • Bus riders - if you will not be riding the bus in the morning, please make sure to notify your bus driver.

  • If you have any questions regarding uniforms, please contact Swiss Pro directly - the office does not have any information about your order

MONDAY:

  • National day of mourning for Queen Elizabeth - NO SCHOOL

TUESDAY:

  • Assembly to promote the Terry Fox Run - 1:05 p.m. Parents are welcome to attend.

WEDNESDAY:

  • Mass for Grades 2 - 7. If weather permits, please wear school sweaters to all Masses. All family members are welcome to attend - we love to see you there!

THURSDAY:

  • COLOUR DAY

  • Terry Rox Run (primary in the morning; intermediate in the afternoon)

FRIDAY:

  • Professional Development Day for Staff - NO SCHOOL for students

SATURDAY:

  • Chilliwack Pro-Life "Walk for Life" Fundraiser
