Highlights of the Week: Oct. 3 - 10

THANK YOU

  • to Mrs. Weberg, Mrs. Olivares and the Grade 3/4 and 5/6 classes for presenting everyone with a cookie on Thursday with the message "Every Child Matters - YOU Matter". Thanks also to those who sent in a donation, which will be used for getting more Indigenous-themed resources for our library.

  • to the volunteers who helped with the Grade 7 Outdoor Education, including Father Gio. A wonderful time was had by all!

  • to all who acted as lector or sang in the choir at our school-led Mass today (and to their parents for bringing them)

INFORMATION:

  • Brown Envelopes will go home this week with a newsletter highlights/calendar sheet. Link to the full newsletter will be emailed on Monday.

  • Tickets for Oktoberfest will be for sale soon - watch for email and Facebook posts to be sure you get yours quickly!

PLEASE NOTE: Only students who are taking part in practices can be on the field/playground or in the gym. There is NO supervision for older or younger siblings.past 3:05 p.m. The playground itself is reserved for After School Care.

  • As extra-curricular activities begin to start up again, just a reminder that there is no supervision for siblings not participating in the activity after school.

  • If sending cash to the school, please make sure it is in an envelope or ziplock, or otherwise marked with your child’s name, amount and what it is for. We sometimes have more than one collection happening at once, and the students bringing the money don't always know why they are bringing it!
