Notes/Reminders:

The DEADLINE for buying OKTOBERFEST tickets is Monday 5th November.

No time to pop into the school office to buy tickets? No problem! You can buy tickets via the St. Mary's APP and choose to have tickets sent home with your child or pick them up!

FOOD DRIVE NEED OF THE WEEK:  CANNED MEATS/FISH

Monday - Friday - Grades 4 and 7 will be doing FSA tests (government tests).  Please make every effort to have your child(ren) attend school all week to complete these tests.

Monday
- Grade 4 & 7 FSA tests
- City of Chilliwack rep visits Grade 3 (presentation on Waste reduction )
- Ladies Boot Camp (5:45 - 6:45 pm) - $2 drop in - Everyone Welcome!

Tuesday
- Grade 4 & 7 FSA tests  
- Hot Lunch day (pizza day)

Wednesday
-  Grade 4 & 7 FSA tests  
-  No Mass today
-  Halloween Dress up Day - students may wear their Halloween costumes to school today.  No costumes depicting evil or violence, no weapons, no masks (face paints are fine)  Also, please ensure their costumes are comfortable enough to sit in all day.
-  Grade 2 visits Bradley Centre
-  The Grade 7 Leadership Team will be hosting a parade of costumes on Halloween Day.  Parents are welcome to join us at 2:15 in the gym to view all the wonderful costumes.  The Leadership Team will announce winners for the following costume categories:
Best Faith Based Costume
Most Creative Costume
Best Effort at a Homemade Costume
Winners judged by Mr. Slivinski and the Leadership Team!
-  Karate after school 

Thursday
- Grade 4 & 7 FSA tests 
- All Saints Day - Grades 2 will be dressing up as Saints
- St. Mary's School Annual General Meeting (AGM) 7 pm in the Church annex.  Child care will be provided in the Grade 7 classroom by Mrs. Choboter and some Grade 7 students.  ENTER TO WIN ONE MONTH'S FREE TUITION (18/19 school year) - must be in attendance to win.

Friday
Grade 4 & 7 FSA tests 

Sunday - November 4th
- Grade 7 Confirmation Candidates attend "Spirit Day" in Surrey
- School Mass 9:30 a.m. - School families are encouraged to attend this Mass (students in uniform please).  We hope to have a full school choir for this Mass as well.
- After the 9:30 and 11:30 Masses, the Kids Who Can will be hosting a taco fundraiser in the gym.  Mr. Rivera will be making authentic Mexican tacos (with all the fixings).  Cost is $2.00/taco.  Tacos may be ordered ahead of time or purchased.  Thank you in advance for your support of the Kids Who Can.
Parent Service Hours;

We still need volunteers for;
- Cleaning school buses
- 9 Nov food prep
- 10 Nov 6-8 hour shift at Oktoberfest
- 11 Nov, Gym clean up after 9.30am mass
- Pub Night helpers
- Selling gift cards every Friday morning
