Highlights of the Week: May 15 - 22

Congratulations to the Grade 7 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday!

Wishing all mothers a very Happy Mother's Day today!  May Jesus, through the intercession of His Mother Mary, continue to bless you all.

THANK YOU

  • to the team that assisted our Grade 7 students in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Like First Holy Communion last week, it takes a whole team from the home,  school and parish to prepare the children and make the celebration of the sacrament so meaningful.  Wishing many blessings on our students!

INFORMATION

  • As we are nearing the end of the year and our annual Celebration of Learning, please return any large plaques that your child may have received last year, so they can be engraved for the new recipients.  Thank you for your cooperation!

  • SJB is running a summer sports camp from July 4 - July 7.  This is for volleyball and basketball skills.  Please see the attached flyer for more information, and if you have questions, please direct them to the athletic director, Mr. Matt Sweeney.  msweeney@stjohnbrebeuf.ca

REMINDERS

  • The 3rd annual St. Mary’s Golf Tournament registration is now open. To register go to https://saintmarysschool.ca/golf

    • We are still in need of volunteers for our golf tournament to make this day successful. If you are willing and able to help out, please go to https://signup.com/go/JnoorPB to sign up!

  • Each year our school (like all independent schools) undergoes an attendance audit. As we are nearing our audit, it is extremely important that if you receive an attendance note from the school regarding dates your child was away, that you sign and return it to the school as soon as possible. Our funding is dependent on this audit, so we appreciate your cooperation.
