Highlights for the week of April 22nd - 28th

Notes/Reminders:

Please continue to collect Walkathon pledges. More prizes to be won! Bubble Gum tape for everyone who brings in $50 of pledge money, Rubik's Cube for $100 of pledges and every student who brings in $150 of pledges by Thursday April 25th will ALL get to duct tape Fr Mark to the wall!

Tickets to our Evening in Monte Carlo fundraiser "Putting on the Ritz" (May 11th) are now available from the school office. Reserve your tickets through the School App or via the the school's website: www.saintmarysschool.ca/montecarlo ($30/person -includes $1000 in play money, hot appies and charcuterie table) - an evening you won't want to miss!

Ladies Spring Salad Evening - May 31st - ($20/person). NO Colour Day today as team photos will be taken for yearbook

Saturday, April 27th (5 pm mass) and Sunday, April 28th (8 am, 9:30 and 11:30 am Masses) - St. Mary's students will be collecting Walkathon pledges. Total monies raised from all the Masses will be split equally between the students who helped at the Masses (students are to be in full uniform).

We have LOTS of service hour opportunities and we REALLY need your help - Please click here for further details - thank you!

The Wyze Guy

Wyze, a grade 4 student at St. Mary's School, is Sto:lo/BlackFoot and Irish/Scottish in decent.

He carries a Sto:lo name; Siyaletleq (See-yah-let-luck) and also a Blackfoot name; Muhtsuwanikhapi (Muh-tsoo-waah-nih-kapee).

Wyze loves trail running, travelling and reading graphic novels. Plus he's a Lego master builder!

Monte Carlo - Putting on the Ritz

Spring Salad Night

This is a wonderful community building event and a great ladies night out!
Tickets are only $20 and include a delicious variety of salads for dinner.
Our guest speaker is Jean Hincks, Publisher of the Chiliwack Progress.
Jean has an interesting life story to share with us, a story that's not been told to the general public before...
Tables will be nicely decorated and the Bar will be open!

7 pm on May 6th 2019 in St. Mary's Church Annex a Fundraising Planning Meeting for the 2019/20 school year will take place.

We encourage you all to join us so you can take part in the planning of our next school year's fundraising and community building activities.

All the planning for the 2019/20 school year has to take place this May/Jun as the school gym has to be booked far in advance as there are many other church groups that book the gym too...

Don't wait until September to share your ideas, we need to hear them now!

If your happy for current events to continue, great! If you would like to suggest alternative ideas, great! See you at the meeting!

Ideally you'll come in person, but we understand busy schedules and babysitting needs, therefore if you can't attend the meeting? No problem, please email ksgouraditis@saintmarysschool.ca with any ideas you wish to share.
