Highlights for the Week of September 30 - October 6
As we approach the week of September 30 to October 6, we have some exciting events and important reminders to share. Here’s what’s happening:
Monday, September 30
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: (No school) We encourage families to find opportunities to attend local events in which you may continue to learn about the Indigenous community and their story.
Tuesday, October 1
Field Trip: Grades 5, 6, and 7 will visit SJB for Preview Day.
Sports:
Grades 6 and 7 Boys Tripleball game at 3:15 PM at Highroad Academy.
Grades 4 and 5 Soccer game at 2:45 PM at Bernard Elementary.
Wednesday, October 2
Mass: All are invited to join us.
Hot Lunch: Enjoy pizza for lunch!
Thursday, October 3
Sports:
Grades 6 and 7 Girls Tripleball game at 3:15 PM at Cascade.
Cross Country Meet at 3:30 PM at Fairfield Island.
Scholastic Book Fair: Open from 5 PM to 8 PM on the gym stage.
Parent-Teacher Interviews: From 5 PM to 8 PM (students are not required to attend).
Friday, October 4
Scholastic Book Fair: Continues from 9 AM to noon.
Parent-Teacher Interviews: 9 AM to noon (no school for students).
Sunday, October 6
School Mass: School Mass for Confirmation Candidates at noon. The St. Mary’s School Choir will be singing.
Reminders:
School sweaters are required for all Masses.
Please refrain from sending toys to school.
We observe a West Coast Recess; ensure children are dressed appropriately for the weather.
