Hi! My name is Maddie Boddington and I am 8 years old. I love reading, writing my own stories, singing and dancing and performing in musical theatre. I recently started karate and I really enjoy it! I love all animals and in my spare time, I raise money to buy animal shelters food and supplies.
Maddie - An inspiration...

An animal lover at heart with a dog named Sara and a cat named Blueberry! On many occasions, Maddie has even begged her parents for more pets!  So strong is her love on animals, that in her spare time she makes and sells anything she can think of to raise money to donate to animal shelters! Lately it's been paper art and friendship bracelets.  Any money Maddie receives as gifts she saves and then phones animal shelters to see what they need. She will even only shop at stores that promote cruelty free products!

Maddie started small, asking her parents for coins for the donation boxes at stores, then started using her own money. The first charity to benefit from Maddie's generosity was the foundation to help raise and train seeing eye dogs. Maddie also supports the local SPCA and recently featured on their Facebook page!

Hope for the future! Maddie displays such empathy for animals and enjoys the value of giving back. We are proud to have her as a student at St. Mary's.
