Weekly Highlights: Oct. 2 - 9

It's hard to believe that September is already over - this first month of school was certainly a busy one!  On Friday we commemorated the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation both in classrooms and as a whole school at an assembly/prayer service.

THANK YOU

  • To Mrs. Choboter and team (Miss Gillespie, Mrs. ten Bohmer, Mrs. Buckle, Fr. Felix) for taking such good care of the Grade 7 class at Camp Squeah.  They definitely go above and beyond to make sure the group has a great time!

  • To the choir members and lectors who attended our school-led Mass yesterday.  It is always a joy to hear our talented readers and singers, and we often receive compliments from parishioners.  Our choir numbers were exceptionally high this time!

  • To all who used our online form to request Parent-Teacher Interviews.  If you've not yet responded, the form can be found here.  It will be available until this evening.  The schedule will be sent home on Tuesday afternoon.

    • Once you have received the schedule please contact your child's teacher (NOT the office) if you need to make a change (each teacher if you have more than one child).

REMINDERS

  • Walkathon pledge sheets and money should now be submitted to the school.  Please make sure that you have the pledge sheet and money together in an envelope or ziplock bag, so we know which money goes with which sheet!  Please do not send the sheet and money until you have all of the money collected.  So far we have raised $4400.  Can we get to $5000?

  • Please make sure that your child knows if he or she is staying at school for a sports practice, or being picked up for a game/meet (by you, or by someone else).  We are still having many phone calls about this.  Please write a note in your child's planner to remind them what is happening each day - that would be greatly appreciated.
