Weekly Highlights: Feb. 5 - 11

What a fun-filled Spirit Week we had, finishing off with great skating sessions on Friday morning.  I always enjoy seeing the various outfits that kids wear to school on these days - the creativity on Decades Day and Twin/Triplet Day was especially great to see!

THANK YOU

  • to the Grade 7 class for coming up with the ideas for Spirit Week - very creative!

INFORMATION

  • Annual General Meeting, Wednesday, February 7, 7:00 p.m.:  Each year the school holds an AGM to keep families up to date on the work of the PEC, the financial status of the school, etc.  This year we will be handing out registration packages at the AGM.  We ask that every family send at least one adult representative.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, you will need to come to the school to get your registration package - they will not be sent home in the brown envelopes this year.

REMINDERS

  • please return brown envelopes as soon as possible

  • used uniform donations are collected throughout the school year. If you have any items (free of holes) to donate, please send them into the office.

  • please keep in mind that parents should not normally be phoning their child during school time.  It can be very disruptive to the class for children to be pulled out for calls.  If there is an important message, the office can easily pass that on to the student.  If your child has not been feeling well and you would like to hear from them during the day, please email the teacher to ask that the child phone home at recess or lunchtime.  Thank you!
