Weekly Highlights: Dec. 11 - 17
I loved seeing the snow falling on Saturday afternoon, but I was even happier to see the rain wash it away overnight, and to see the forecast for nicer weather this week. There is too much happening for us to have a snow day before Christmas! Our staff enjoyed time together in community on Friday at our retreat, and also did some charitable work individually or in small groups. It was a good opportunity to pray, play and pay it forward.
THANK YOU
to all who have donated to the Christmas Hamper drive, and to the Christmas Shop. Your generosity is appreciated!
to those who ordered CandyGrams. Over $500 was raised for the Christmas hampers!
to parents who helped supervise the field trip to Valleyhaven
to parents for getting students to the volleyball game at St. James, and to the coaches and players!

Sunday, December 24: Fourth Sunday of Advent - usual morning Sunday Masses AND Christmas Eve (Masses at 5:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and Midnight). Our priests are reminding us that the Sunday morning Mass does not fulfill the Christmas obligation, and vice versa - i.e., if you wanted to avoid going to Mass twice in one day, Saturday evening would fulfill the Sunday obligation and Christmas Eve evening would fulfill the Christmas obligation. Or, Sunday morning Mass for Sunday, and Monday morning Mass for Christmas. It's a complicated year!
Monday, January 8, 2024: SCHOOL REOPENS
Wishing you many blessings of the season!
