Dear St. Mary's Families,

I have just learned that the Chilliwack Public Schools have closed today due to conditions of roads in our area, the flooding that has already occurred and the prospect of much more rain today. We have always followed the lead of the school district in determining whether we are open or closed, as our families and staff come from a widespread area. We want to ensure the safety of everyone.

Therefore, St. Mary's School will be closed to staff and students today. I am aware that some members of our community are experiencing flooding in their homes - please play for an end to this deluge, and that everyone will stay safe!
