Highlights of the Week: April 11 - 18

Congratulations to our grade 2 class who recently completed their First Reconciliation.

THANK YOU

  • to all of the Grade 4/5 boys and girls who represented our school in Basketball this season, and practiced and played so well! Thank you also to their families for driving to and from games, and to Mrs. Choboter and Miss Gillespie for the hours they spent in coaching and arranging games and practices! This week's games and practices are the last of the season.

INFORMATION:

  • Interim reports will be coming home this Thursday. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child's teacher.

  • Do you need parent participation hours? We still need more volunteers for the Spring Market clean up crew on April 24th from 2-4 pm. To sign up, please go to: https://signup.com/go/kECSXva

  • At our last school Mass, Father Guy told the children to ask their parents to review each Wednesday's Mass readings with them on Tuesday nights, so the children are prepared to listen to and respond to the readings at Mass. He strongly emphasized that this is the responsibility of parents, not teachers (although teachers often do go over scripture in class). The Canadian Mass readings can be found here.
