Highlights of the Week: May 22 - 28

I hope you are enjoying this long weekend.  Prayers that everyone who has been traveling makes it home smoothly and safely!

THANK YOU

  • More of a request, but thank you in advance:  one of our staff members is going to be moving, and would appreciate any suitable boxes you might have around the house.  Please feel free to drop them by the school office.

INFORMATION

REMINDERS

  • The 3rd annual St. Mary’s Golf Tournament registration is now open. To register go to https://saintmarysschool.ca/golf

    • We are still in need of volunteers for our golf tournament to make this day successful. If you are willing and able to help out, please go to https://signup.com/go/JnoorPB to sign up!

  • Each year our school (like all independent schools) undergoes an attendance audit. As we are nearing our audit, it is extremely important that if you receive an attendance note from the school regarding dates your child was away, that you sign and return it to the school as soon as possible. Our funding is dependent on this audit, so we appreciate your cooperation.

  • SJB is running a summer sports camp from July 4 - July 7.  This is for volleyball and basketball skills.  Please see the flyer for more information, and if you have questions, please direct them to the athletic director, Mr. Matt Sweeney.  msweeney@stjohnbrebeuf.ca

MONDAY

  • Victoria Day - NO SCHOOL

TUESDAY

  • Track and Field practice, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Grades 3 - 7)

    • So as to protect the health, healing, and well-being of our student athletes, we ask parents/guardians of injured students and those recovering from illnesses, to inform the coaches of your child's condition. As staff are committed to coaching at practices and meets, it is not possible to offer supervision for student athletes who are not participating.  Therefore, we require that students with injuries or those recovering from illness refrain from practices and meets until they regain full health.
