Highlights of the Week: May 29 - June 4

The week ahead is relatively quiet, but there is generally a lot going on in the next few weeks!  Please be sure to keep these highlight emails and fridge calendars (coming home on Wednesday) handy!  I can't believe we're almost in June!  Praying for a month of mainly cool, cloudy weather (with no rain during the school day!) to keep us all comfortable as we go through these last weeks of learning.

THANK YOU

  • to families of Track Meet participants for getting students to school early and picking them up late on the day of the track meet.  We are so proud of how our students performed!

  • to everyone who supported the Grade 5/6 and 7 E-Fair - everyone had a great day!

  • to families who submitted the requested documentation to help with our attendance audit.  Your cooperation and promptness was very much appreciated.

  • to those who helped at - or played at - or otherwise supported the 3rd Annual St. Mary's Golf Tournament.  What an opportunity for community building AND fundraising!

INFORMATION

  • PEC election results will be announced in a separate email later this evening or tomorrow (candidates need to be notified first).

REMINDERS

  • with warmer weather here, hats and water bottles are always a good thing for students to have at school.

  • brown envelopes will be going home on Wednesday - if you haven't returned last month's please do so tomorrow.

MONDAY

TUESDAY

  • Grade 2 and Grade 7 Field Trip to Westminster Abbey

  • Track and Field practice, 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Grades 3 - 7)

    • So as to protect the health, healing, and well-being of our student athletes, we ask parents/guardians of injured students and those recovering from illnesses, to inform the coaches of your child's condition. As staff are committed to coaching at practices and meets, it is not possible to offer supervision for student athletes who are not participating.  Therefore, we require that students with injuries or those recovering from illness refrain from practices and meets until they regain full health.
